Questions

UCR FAQ

The Unified Carrier Registration is an annual federal program requiring interstate motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and leasing companies to register and pay a fee based on fleet size.

The UCR government fee is set by the UCR Plan by fleet size. For 2027 it runs from $55 (0-2 vehicles) to $54,165 (1,001 or more), billed at cost with no markup from us.

UCR is registered per calendar year. The UCR Plan requires the fee to be paid before January 1 of the registration year; after that the fee is still due and an unregistered carrier can face state enforcement. 2027 registration opened October 1.
